Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Two of her sisters were brought up together and was regularly bullied at school due to the large size of her thighs. After completing her the elementary school level, Graham was diagnosed with the disorder of attention deficit hyperactivity (A.D.H.D. ) however she managed to overcome the condition and other personal obstacles throughout her childhood. Graham who was just 12 years old, was found by an Nebraska talent agent who was working in the Nebraska Mall. Prior to her graduation in 2005 from Lincoln Southwest High School (now Lincoln Southwest High School) Graham had modeled in various magazines and billboards. When she first began her modelling career, she had difficulty finding jobs because her body was quite unique. Graham took on a variety of model offers from catalogs throughout time. But, she was always told that it would be impossible for her to move beyond smaller tasks. Her career progressed very quickly after she proved the doubters to be wrong. In 2007, the magazine interviewed her by Sally Singer of "Vogue" magazine. It was one of her first big break-throughs. In 2009, she was featured on "Glamour magazine"'s "These Bodies Can Be Beautiful at Any Size" with Sally Singer. Graham again made headlines by being featured as a model in the controversial Lane Bryant commercial. The commercial was ultimately banned in several countries. The singer even appeared on "The Tonight Show" alongside Jay Leno to address the issue after it grew into a tizzy. Graham became a well-known Plus-sized model. Grande began acting and singing as a child. She was cast in the role of 13 at Broadway in 2008, and started appearing in smaller role in TV shows. The role she played in Victorious, a Nickelodeon TV show, in the year 2010 was her big break. Cat Valentine was a teenager who attended a performing arts high school. Sam & Cat was the spin-off of her sitcom, which was aired in 2013, after it was cancelled.
